Frequently asked questions

Do I need an appointment to paint in your shop?
Whether you’re painting on your own, with your partner or kids, or with family and friends, we’d love to hear that you’re planning on coming! If you could ring beforehand we can ensure that everything is ready for you get creative as soon as you arrive.

How long does it take for my ceramic to be finished?
Normally you can collect your ceramics after five to seven days, once it has been hand-glazed, fired and wrapped for you. We will telephone you to let you know that your masterpieces are ready.

What happens if the paint gets on my clothes?
The paint is water-soluble – just put your clothes in the washing machine afterwards. We do have aprons available if you’d prefer not to take a risk!

Could there be problems with firing the ceramic?
We try our best to make sure nothing will happen. Unfortunately, on occasions something can go wrong. If this happens we will provide you with a new ceramic so you can enjoy creating a new work of art.

What does a painting session cost?
The painting rate for adults is 16 Euros and 13 Euros for kids. The cost of the ceramic you choose is added to this, with prices starting from as little as 4,90 Euros. The mother/child and father/child painting (Artist+Assistance) is charged at a price of 24 Euros.
The mother/child and father/child painting (hands and feet) is charged at a price of 30 Euros. The paints, brushes, sponges, aprons, glazing and firing of your ceramics is included in the price.

How much time do I have to have for the painting?
It would be good to allow yourself around two and a half hours. We don’t want you to feel rushed, as we want you to create an amazing design that you are proud of and feel relaxed while doing so. Some guests take up to four hours or more when working on complex designs.

Is my piece safe for the dishwasher?
Yes, you can put your ceramic in the dishwasher. If you want to take good care of your ceramic you should wash it by hand to avoid any damage. The ceramic should not be used in the microwave.

When do I pay?
After you’ve had fun painting and before you leave the MANUFATTURA, so once it had been hand-glazed and fired you can take it straight home without worrying about paying. Unfortunately, we only accept cash.

How long will the unique ceramic be kept so I can carry on painting if I haven’t finished?
Unfortunatly, we do have a restricted capacity and we cannot keep unfinished pieces indefinitely. Please understand that we will only be able to keep your unfinished ceramic for a maximum of three months, after which you will no longer be able to continue on your piece.
